How did you get started in real estate?

Since I’ve been in customer service for years, I was looking for a career that expanded on my experience. I was drawn to Real Estate mainly because of the effort it requires to make purchasing a home a smooth experience – it’s definitely a challenge. It builds upon project management and interpersonal communication, two things I love. Coupled with beautiful interiors and architecture, it has really hit home as a wonderful fit for me personally and professionally.

What is something that clients would be surprised to know about you?

I was a professional classical ballet dancer for around 5 years, and trained in professional boarding schools for 7. It made me very independent, and extremely thick skinned – whoever says ballet isn’t hard needs to have a long conversation with me. It also afforded me to see the world before the age of 25, so I am extremely grateful for the experience.

What is the best breakfast taco in Austin?

I love The Vaquero from Tacodeli. So good!

What is your favorite neighborhood in Austin?

Clarksville really resonates with me as a neighborhood – the classic craftsman houses mixed in with new condos is the perfect example of how Austin is developing. Also, it has a wonderful small-town vibe with its boutiques and restaurants, its hard not to be charmed! Try the new Bar Peached on Pressler and 6th Streets – delicious.
