Christy possesses more than a decade of real estate experience across multiple markets including Austin, Aspen, Crested Butte, Telluride, and Vail. Over the course of her real estate career, Christy has found that one of the most important aspects of real estate is forming lasting relationships with her clients. Her work ethic and dedication to client satisfaction have afforded her repeat clients in Aspen and Austin.
How did you get started in real estate?
After graduating from Colorado State, I worked in management and hospitality at a private residential club in Snowmass, Colorado. During that time, I worked very closely with the real estate sales team and found that I wanted to play a more active role in the transaction side of real estate. In 2007, I began my full-time real estate career.
What is something that clients would be surprised to know about you?
I would consider myself a “gourmet” cook. I love spending time in the kitchen testing new recipes and mastering the classics. French cuisine is my favorite with its rich flavors and perfect levels of acidity in every dish. My two daughters make cooking even more special when we’re able to share a home cooked meal together after a long day.
Where is your favorite place to spend time outdoors in Austin?
Austin is bursting with great spots to get outdoors and be active. On a sunny Saturday I love to walk around Lady Bird Lake or the Greenbelt with my daughters and our golden retriever.
What is your favorite neighborhood in Austin?
Bryker Woods, my own neighborhood which I have fallen head over heels in love with. The central location is unbeatable and the school district is wonderful. Overall, it is such a family oriented neighborhood where you can always find a smiling neighbor walking by or kids playing out in the yard. It doesn’t hurt either that Tiny Boxwoods is in walking distance!
