Austin Area School Districts:
Austin Independent School District (AISD)
AISD is an award-winning school district employed by high quality teachers, administrators, and other professionals. Located at the heart of downtown Austin, AISD is one of the most progressive school districts in the nation. AISD, being the fifth largest school district in the nation, with 130 different schools within the district, is richly diverse and open to families of all backgrounds.
Georgetown ISD
Georgetown ISD, located in Georgetown, Texas, serves over 11,500 students. Containing nine elementary schools, four middle schools, three high schools, and two alternative schools, this greater Austin area school district is home to some of the most inspired students served by the most empowered leaders, encouraging students to lead, grow, and serve.
Lake Travis ISD
Lake Travis ISD, located near the gorgeous Lake Travis right outside of Austin, is home to nine school campuses all of which scored well above state targets in state testing. Lake Travis ISD’s location allows for you to live in the heart of the hill country while also being just a quick drive away from downtown Austin.
Eanes ISD
Eanes ISD, located in the West Lake area of Austin, is one of Austin’s smaller school districts. Spanning 31.2 square miles of Texas hill country, Eanes ISD is in a prime Austin location. With all nine of Eanes ISD’s campuses receiving the highest TEA Accountability Ratings, this school district is known for high success rates among its students.
Family Neighborhoods:
Pemberton and Bryker Woods
Pemberton Heights and Bryker Woods are two of the very few registered historic neighborhoods located in Central Austin. Both neighborhoods, which are located right next to each other, are AISD zoned and walking distance to the University of Texas. The two neighborhoods are also surrounded by parks, restaurants, grocery stores, Shoal Creek hike and bike trail, and is just two miles away from Town Lake.
Allandale
Allandale is a peaceful suburban neighborhood located just north of downtown Austin. With easy access to MoPac and N Lamar Boulevard, residences are able to be downtown or up north in just minutes. Allandale is also zoned in Austin ISD, an award-winning school district.
West Lake Hills
West Lake Hills is a beautiful suburban neighborhood located in the hills overlooking Lake Austin and Town Lake. Tarrytown
Tarrytown is one of the most affluent and prestigious neighborhoods in Austin. Located just west of MoPac, Tarrytown is in very close proximity to the University of Texas and downtown Austin. Backing up to the shores of Lake Austin and being minutes away from Mount Bonnell, the neighborhoods abundance of parks and trails are perfect for active families. Rollingwood
Rollingwood is an upscale neighborhood in Austin located very close to West Lake Hills. Travis Heights
