Trick-or-Treating brings families out to explore their neighborhood and community. Deciding where to take your family for trick-or-treating can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you’re newer to the area or it’s your first time taking your kids. There is nothing worse than getting geared up to go house to house only to find that you’ve picked a neighborhood with residents who have drawn the curtains and turned their porch lights off. Just the same as when shopping for a house, picking a neighborhood to trick-or-treat in is all about location, location, location. Although Austin is overflowing with beautiful neighborhoods, not all of them are great for kids to roam the streets. We’ve put together a list of Austin’s most family-friendly neighborhoods to trick-or-treat in this Halloween.
Austin’s Best Neighborhoods for Trick-or-Treating:
Steiner Ranch
Travis Heights
Highland Lakes
Canyonwood
