With an eye for design and love for architecture, Rea Netherton brings passion and dedication to the Roxan Coffman Properties group. Rea is an active member of Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.
How did you get started in real estate? I knew real estate would be the perfect career for me because I love working with people and have always had a knack for design and architecture. I decided to pursue a career in real estate shortly after I graduated from Texas Tech and finished an internship position in New York City.
What is something that most clients don’t know about you? After graduation, I interned for one of my favorite interior designers, Miles Redd, in New York City. It was an absolutely amazing experience.
Is there an interior design trend that you’re crushing over? Currently I am really into the high gloss or lacquered walls look.
Where is the best breakfast taco in Austin? My favorite food! I would have to say the best breakfast taco in Austin is the ‘Otto’ taco at Tacodeli. The breakfast tacos at Texas Honey Ham are a close second.
What is your favorite time of year in Austin and why? My favorite time of the year in Austin is during the Spring. The weather is perfect for boating on Lake Austin and the Texas heat has not quite kicked in yet.
